For web developers who need to improve the usability of forms on their web site, “Forms that work” is a 1-day workshop that shows delegates how to improve forms in three ways: better fit between users' needs and business purpose, questions that are easier to answer, and forms that look easier to fill in. Unlike other usability courses, this workshop focuses exclusively on the techniques you need to design better forms.
After attending this workshop, you will be able to improve forms in three ways: better fit between users' needs and business purpose, questions that are easier to answer, and forms that look easier to fill in. This seminar is led by Caroline Jarrett.
"Excellent content, enjoyable day led by a renowned practitioner in the art of forms."

You choose a selection of forms you consider especially interesting, for example your current work or forms issued by competitors. Caroline then prepares exercises based on these forms, and also adjusts the points covered during the day to ensure that your team gets plenty of praise for the things they are doing well and suggestions for specific changes. This is very popular with delegates, who like both the reassurance and the challenge to improve. They also enjoy attempting examples that relate directly to their own work.
People who work with forms often feel that their efforts are undervalued elsewhere in their organizations, and they are often pleased to spend a day with someone who is as enthusiastic as Caroline about creating better forms — as well as someone who appreciates the difficulties and the rewards in getting it right.
On completion of a public seminar, if you don't think that the training will help you do your job better, we will refund your registration fee in full.
