Your personal details

From time to time, you may be asked to submit personal information about yourself in order to receive or use services on this website. For example, if you want to receive our newsletter, you will need to give us your e-mail address. If you want to sign up for one of our training courses, we need a contact address.

Information you give us will be used exactly as stated. For example, if you sign up for our mailing list, we will send you a monthly e-mail about new articles relevant to usability. We won't send you anything unsolicited and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Any information you give us will not be sold, rented, leased, traded, swapped, marketed, exchanged, bartered, or distributed in any other way. We don't like to receive junk mail, and know you don't either.

Your browsing patterns

We collect aggregate usage data, so we can identify the most popular pages in our website, identify common search terms and see who is linking to our pages. We also use cookies in some parts of the site to check the success of our advertising campaigns. These cookies are part of Google adwords conversion tracking. Once again, the data we collect is not used to identify individuals but to examine aggregate behaviour. We do not log individual session files.

Data Protection Act

Userfocus is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 to collect and store these data (read our entry in the Data Protection Register). If you have submitted personal information through this site and want to know what information we have about you, please contact us.
